Juventus are ‘eyeing Antoine Griezmann to REPLACE Cristiano Ronaldo this summer’ if they fail to secure Champions League qualification on Serie A final day
- Juventus are fearful of losing their star man Cristiano Ronaldo this summer
- The iconic forward isn’t likely to stick around if Juve don’t earn a top-four spot
- They need to beat Bologna on Sunday and for Milan or Napoli to drop points
- Juve are already looking at replacements, with Antoine Griezmann favourite
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Italian adventure could come to an abrupt end if Juventus fail to seal a top-four spot on Sunday, and the club are reportedly lining-up Antoine Griezmann as a replacement already.
The Turin side face Bologna on Sunday with Champions League qualification on the line, having already surrendered the Serie A title and had their nine-year dominance ended. If AC Milan and Napoli win their final day matches, it’s game over.
Ronaldo’s three seasons in Italy have been frustrating, despite two league titles. He’s got nowhere near a sixth triumph in Europe, and won’t be content with Europa League football next term.
Antoine Griezmann is being lined-up by Juventus this summer, with Barcelona willing to sell
Juve star Cristiano Ronaldo’s future in Turin could hinge on this Sunday’s final day of Serie A
Barcelona look set to move Griezmann out of the Nou Camp this summer, and La Stampa are reporting that Juve will be at the front of the queue.
The Frenchman hasn’t hit the kind of ruthless form he exhibited at Atletico Madrid before moving to Catalonia for £100m, and Barca’s financial trouble could mean he’ll leave frustrated.
The club’s debts have reportedly piled-up to £1billion, and neither top priorities Lionel Messi nor Ousmane Dembele have sorted-out contract extensions yet, with the legendary Argentine’s deal expiring this summer.
Griezmann is also being linked with a move back to Madrid, with Barcelona ready to sell for the right price.

Ronaldo could return to Manchester United or Sporting Lisbon this summer if he leaves
Meanwhile, Ronaldo could be set for a return home, with both Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United keen on signing the 36-year-old.
The superstar’s deal ends in 2022 but the relentless achiever won’t be keen to play in Europe’s second-tier competition next season, with both Sporting and United having already sealed Champions League qualification.
Ronaldo has already dropped a key hint over his exit, having his super car collection removed from his Turin home and sent back to Lisbon under the cover of darkness earlier this week.
