Erling Haaland is arguably the hottest property in world football at the moment with every big club in Europe after his signature – however that excludes Juventus, who have seemingly thrown in the white towel for his capture.
Haaland has been superb for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 63 goals in 64 games since his arrival from RB Salzburg.
Various clubs were in for his signature whilst he was on the books in Austria as he announced himself as one of the world’s best young strikers.
And with the striker opting for a preference of game time over status, it appears to have done him wonders as he stakes his claim as the most coveted talent on the planet.
Manchester City and Manchester United have been heavily linked with moves for him, alongside Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
But one heavyweight club that Haaland will not be going to is Juventus – after director Federico Cherubini gave a stern statement suggesting they wouldn’t be trying to sign Haaland.

Haaland is reported to have a £68million release clause fee starting next summer, but clubs could bid a higher amount otherwise to secure his services.
“Haaland is a regret for Juventus,” Cherubini said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
“We wanted him years ago but he wasn’t attracted by potential loan. Buy Haaland now? We’re going to look for players like Erling before maturing – even if I wouldn’t want to preclude anything.”
Where Haaland will play his football next season remains to be seen, with the Norwegian likely to want a move away to win elite prizes.
