Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was sent off for berating the linesman during their match against Manchester City.
Tempers flared in the closing stages of the match at Anfield as Mohamed Salah tangled with Bernardo Silva. Salah felt he should have been given a foul after Silva dragged him to the ground near the touchline.
Television replays showed Silva with a handful of Salah's shirt. But the linesman and the referee ignored the Egyptian star's fervent appeals, sending both him and Klopp into a frenzy.

As play continued out on the pitch, Klopp got to within inches of the linesman, berating him with full gusto as he attempted to keep track of the play. Referee Anthony Taylor had no hesitation in giving the German manager a red card, sending him straight down the tunnel, much to the fury of Liverpool fans.

A third person added: "Officials in the Prem are an absolute joke. Klopp gets sent off coz the linesman can’t do his f***ing job." While another user commented: "Ref has gone too far, absolute joke that Mo doesn’t get a free kick and Klopp gets sent off and Guardiola didn’t."
Even Manchester United superfan Mark Goldbridge was on Klopp's side. He tweeted: "Antony Taylor always has to make tit about him. That red for Klopp is a joke. Manager's aren't allowed to show passion anymore…"
Despite Klopp's sending off, Liverpool managed to hold onto the 1-0 lead, given to them midway through the second half by Salah, to inflict Manchester City's first Premier League defeat of the season.
The result moved the Reds up to eighth in the table while City remain second, four points adrift of Arsenal, who won 1-0 against Leeds earlier on in the afternoon.
