Alisson and Fabinho will both return for Liverpool’s huge top-four battle with Chelsea on Thursday night at Anfield while Diogo Jota is in contention, in what is a huge boost for Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds finally returned to winning ways on the weekend with victory at Sheffield United but they still sit two points off top four and one adrift of Chelsea heading into Thursday’s clash following their horrible slump in form.
Alisson had missed Liverpool’s win at Bramall Lane following the tragic death of his father after he drowned in Brazil last week.

Jurgen Klopp gave Liverpool fans a very encouraging update regarding team news
Meanwhile Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has missed almost a month of action after sustaining a muscle injury before the defeat to Leicester, with his last appearance for the Reds coming in the 4-1 humiliation at the hands of Manchester City.
But Klopp has revealed the Brazilian No 1 and his counterpart will return to the Reds’ squad for the battle with Chelsea: ‘Ali trained now the full week and, yes, we should expect that he is able to return.
‘Fab has now five or six sessions in his legs and we have to make a decision how we deal with that, but he looks good and is ready for the squad for sure.’
Meanwhile, Klopp admitted that Jota faces a race to be involved on Thursday as he looks to recover from illness in time.
The Portuguese forward was set to be in Liverpool’s squad against Sheffield United for the first time since December 9, having recovered from a serious knee injury, but illness cruelly prevented him from returning.

Klopp added: ‘Diogo had this little stomach problem and he trained yesterday only a little bit; he was only out there for the warming-up and the rondos and then had a little run.
‘I got the message this morning that he feels better again, so we will see what we can do with that.
‘As I said, before he looked exceptionally well, but unfortunately he got ill overnight, so now we have to see how big the steps are he can make towards the team again.’
Jota’s return would come as a massive boost to Klopp following his superb form at the start of the season before sustaining the knee injury.
Jota, who joined from Wolves last summer in a £41million deal, had scored nine goals in 17 appearances in all competitions before his massive setback – adding another formidable dimension to Liverpool’s already star-studded attack.
