Jose Mourinho will request Kurt Zouma plus a sum of £10million, should his former side Chelsea make a move for Roma defender Gianluca Mancini this summer. Mourinho has only just begun his managerial reign at Roma but is already being faced with transfer decisions to make, including what happens with Mancini.
The 25-year-old has been attracting interest from a number of clubs having made a positive impression in Serie A during the past four seasons.
One of those teams eyeing up a bid is said to be Chelsea, who will look to strengthen this summer as Thomas Tuchel looks to mount a Premier League title charge.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Roma are looking to reduce their wage bill as well and will attempt to raise money through player sales in the transfer window.
Mancini may be one player that the Serie A giants look to cash in on and will look to acquire Zouma as Mourinho eyes a reunion with the Frenchman, who he brought to Stamford Bridge during his final stint as Chelsea boss.

This is a transfer that may well suit Zouma, who has struggled for game time under Tuchel.
The 26-year-old featured regularly under Frank Lampard but the France international fell out of favour following the arrival of Tuchel, whose preferred back three has consisted of Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Zouma was left out of both legs of the club’s Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and was also left on the bench for the resulting showpiece fixture against Manchester City.
According to Telefoot, Chelsea are open to selling Zouma this summer and will look to bring his seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge to an end.

Mourinho has previously made clear that he is a big admirer of the former St Etienne defender, having heaped praise on his ability.
Speaking after Chelsea’s transfer ban was announced in 2019, he insisted that the Blues did not need to recruit in the area of central defence as the club already had Zouma available to them.
“Chelsea needs a centre-back… Kurt Zouma! You don’t need to buy, you don’t need to spend… Zouma,” Mourinho said.
“He’s champion of England, he played for Chelsea, played for Stoke in the Premier League, played for Everton in the Premier League, played for France.
He added: “He’s your player, he’s on loan, where are you going to buy a better player than him? You already have him.”
