Virgil van Dijk gave Liverpool a huge boost on the eve of the new season by penning a new long-term contract.
And captain Jordan Henderson looks set to be next to commit his future to the club with the Reds confident they can overcome a stalemate in talks with the midfielder.
Van Dijk, 30, looks set to finish his career at Anfield if he sees out his new deal which will take him to 2025.
But Henderson's future was thrown into doubt earlier this summer when it was revealed talks between the 31-year-old England star and the club had stalled with two years left on his current contract.
Yet Kop boss Jurgen Klopp believes the issue will get resolved.
He said: “It is important but it will happen. We will sort it, however it will be. We will sort it. No doubt about that.
“It will get sorted.”
While their title rivals Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have been out splashing big money this summer, Liverpool's priority has been tying down their current big names.
Alisson, Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold and now Van Dijk have all signed new contracts to ensure they remain at Anfield.
Henderson looks set to be next while there have been talks with Mo Salah about a new deal, too.

Van Dijk's news is a boost as he prepares to return to competitive action today at Norwich following his recovery from a knee ligament injury which ended his last season in October.
“It is very important if you look at those players in particular [who have signed new contracts], they are very important members of the team, characters, full of quality and something we want to keep building on,” said Van Dijk.

“We are all delighted to be signing our new deals, but it’s very important for the club too.
“The consistency is definitely important.
“We saw last season that we shouldn’t take fitness for granted.
