Joao Felix’s insane skills beat three players as fans make ‘Ballon d’or’ shout

Football fans are convinced that Joao Felix is in line for the Ballon d'Or one day after footage emerged of the Atletico Madrid attacker performing an outrageous piece of skill.

Felix receives the ball on the edge of the six-yard-box before flicking it up and backheeling the ball across the box.

The 22-year-old was also captured performing a series of nutmegs and fancy flicks.

But the clip appears to show the Portuguese midfield finally fulfilling his lofty potential that he promised while at Benfica.

And fans have quickly flocked to the clip, crowning the youngster a future Ballon d'Or winner in waiting.

"This kid is going to win a Ballon D’or," one fan tweeted.

Another added: "Vlahovic this, Isak that, Shut the f*** up. I got Arsenal’s new CF right here."

"I don’t get how people don’t rate João Félix. He is a baller man. It’s such a pleasure to watch him play," a third added.

A fan replied: "Agree. He gets no respect at all. I think the fee that Atletico paid for him didn't help him either. It just brought more critique."
