Tottenham’s season continued to reach new lows on Saturday as they lost 3-0 to a rampant Manchester United side in front of a disappointed home crowd. And with the club now in eighth position, the Lilywhites have been slammed by ex-midfielder Jamie O’Hara – who has called his former employers ‘s***’ on Twitter.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford put Spurs to the sword in a crunch clash for under-fire managers Nuno Espirito Santo and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian came out on top after switching to a 5-3-2 formation following defensive frailties over the last couple of weeks.
Poor defending was still on show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, yet from the home side, who were powerless to stop United’s rampant attack without even mustering a shot on target themselves.
Harry Kane and the rest of the Spurs attack were absent as the hosts suffered their third defeat in five games.
And O’Hara didn’t hold back in his damning verdict of his former side on Twitter, with just three words summing up his views on the game.

“We are s**t,” the ex-Spurs midfielder wrote after Cavani put United 2-0 up.
O’Hara played 56 games for Tottenham, scoring seven goals from 2005 to 2011, winning a League Cup in 2008 in his time at White Hart Lane.
And his words imply that he believes another trophy likely won’t arrive under manager Nuno any time soon.
The Portuguese manager has come under the cosh after the embarrassing defeat to United.

And in reply to a fan who told Spurs to pay whatever it takes for Brighton manager Graham Potter, O’Hara replied with more expletives.
“Potter don’t want to take on this s*** show,” the Dartford-born pundit continued.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg suggested that Nuno has lost the dressing room after recent results.
