James Ward-Prowse made an instant impact on his West Ham debut as he assisted against Chelsea inside the first seven minutes.
The midfielder's out-swinging corner found Nayef Aguerd at the back post, and he headed home past Robert Sanchez to open the scoring at the London Stadium early on.
He was handed his Hammers bow from the start by David Moyes, a decision which he immediately vindicated. Making way for him was Pablo Fornals, with Lucas Paqueta pushing forward into the No. 10 role.
