Jadon Sancho ‘confirms’ Raphael Varane as Man Utd’s next signing

Manchester United fans believe Jadon Sancho has confirmed Raphael Varane will be joining him in making the move to Old Trafford.

Sancho switched to the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer, finally putting an end to the transfer saga.

Another saga is still ongoing though with United reportedly close to securing a deal for Real Madrid ace Varane.

Sancho is currently preparing for the new season and took to Instagram Live while working out on a treadmill at home.

He invited United fans to ask him questions with one supporter wasting no time as they commented: "Touch your hat to announce [Raphael] Varane".

And Sancho did exactly that just seconds later, sending Red Devils fans into meltdown over the summer business.

Varane is reportedly set to complete his medical this week before making the switch to the Premier League giants.

Varane is expected to slot straight into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team alongside Harry Maguire.

And Old Trafford hero Rio Ferdinand expects Varane to shine despite a possibly tough adaptation to English football.

Will Raphael Varane be a success at Man Utd? Let us know in the comments section below

"On paper it looks a very, very good combination, but he’s got to understand the English game is very different. You’ve got to go to Burnley and places like that," he said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.

"Sometimes it can be up and at ’em, a different style of football in the Premier League to anything he’s played in before.

"Can he deal with it? They’re the questions he’s going to get asked.

"Balls getting wrapped around his ear holes, crosses from different angles that he hasn’t seen on a consistent basis in Spain where they play more on the floor, slower football, slower build up.

"So he’s going to be asked to defend in a different way and that’s where he’s going to have to show his real class, can he adapt? That's the real question.

"I genuinely believe he’s got the tools to do that."
