Like every other football fan who did not live to regret tuning into Everton’s FA Cup tie with Tottenham, Jack Grealish was clearly enjoying a topsy-turvy contest between the two top-four contenders at Goodison Park. The teams could not be separated after 90 minutes of scintillating action on Merseyside that saw eight goals in normal time.
Football-mad Grealish has made a habit of watching plenty of action during his downtime, if his social media is anything to go by.
The attacking midfielder uploaded a video of his team-mate Ross Barkley scoring for Everton at Newcastle earlier on Wednesday, on a replay of Sky Sports’ Premier League Years (2013/14).
Grealish was also watching Tuesday night’s contest between Manchester United and West Ham as he praised Three Lions colleague Declan Rice.
There was one key pointer that the 25-year-old took from the game between Everton and Spurs though, as he praised the pinpoint crossing of Son Heung-min.

The South Korean was in brilliant form for Spurs and put the ball on a plate for Harry Kane to equalise with a terrific delivery eight minutes before the end in normal time..
It prompted quite the compliment from Grealish, who has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season, as he posted on his Instagram story: “Nah, Son crossing in the game has been an absolute scandal.”
A clapping emoji and laughing face confirmed that by scandal, Grealish approved of Son’s work at Goodison Park.
Earlier in the game, the attacker assisted Davinson Sanchez’s opener in the first half.

He was then on hand to deliver a dangerous corner for the Colombian’s second of the evening after the break.
Son’s assist for Kane saw him chalk up 30 goal contributions (17G, 13A) this season, in 33 matches in all competitions.
Grealish has taken his game to the next level this season and he’s reaping the rewards from his studious approach to his trade.
He now looks a certainty for Gareth Southgate’s England squad this summer, should he continue his rich vein of form.
The Aston Villa captain recently revealed that he plucked the brains of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, while away on international duty, as he looks to learn new things from the more experienced players in the England squad.
“I remember one night in Belgium I sat with Jordan Henderson for two hours and we chatted about everything,” he said. “It is nice to speak to these people about how they see the game, how they train at different clubs, different cultures.”
Grealish later added: “You learn stuff from all these guys and I feel that is one thing which has helped me massively.
“As soon as you start playing for the national team, you up your own game.”
