A leading newspaper in Italy mocked up Chelsea manager Graham Potter as his wizarding namesake ahead of the Blues’ clash with AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Photoshopping the 47-year-old boss on to an image of Harry Potter riding a broomstick, Gazzetta dello Sport previewed the Group E match with the bizarre headline ‘As if by magic’.
The Italian newspaper went so far as to overlay black spectacles on to the face of the Chelsea manager, although left out the teenage wizard’s trademark scar.

The 47-year-old boss will lead Chelsea against Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday
Milan’s trip to Stamford Bridge marks Potter’s third competitive match in charge of the club, following his 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg and 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Ahead of the Champions League showpiece, bottom-placed Chelsea sit just three points behind group leaders Milan, with Dinamo Zagreb in second and Salzburg in third.
Potter confirmed that goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is fit and available after just over a month out with a knee problem, while N’Golo Kante is ‘getting closer’ to full fitness.

All eyes will be on Milan stars Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori, who return to Stamford Bridge after both leaving west London permanently in July 2021.
The pair were instrumental in Stefano Pioli’s title-winning Serie A season last campaign and have each featured in every top flight match since.
Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is enduring his fourth consecutive year on loan away from Chelsea, has featured on the bench for Milan in every Serie A match so far this season.
