Former Italian footballer Davide Iovinella, who quit the game for porn, has opted for another career switch – this time choosing a tamer pursuit.
The 28-year-old attracted media attention in 2018 when he decided to hang up his boots for greener pastures in the world of adult film-making.
Iovinella, who hails from the town of Marcianise just outside of Naples, made his professional football debut in 2016 for Mugnano before moving to Serie D outfit ASD Calcio Pomigliano.
By 2018, the central defender was struggling to find a side and eventually came to terms with the fact he was not destined for stardom in the sport.
But instead of feeling sorry for himself, Iovinella decided to pursue a far more lucrative profession than amateur football by entering the world of porn.
He successfully auditioned to become one of 3,000 selected to work with director Rocco Siffredi as an adult film actor.
Iovinella then flew to Budapest where he visited Siffredi’s Academy and picked up the eye-catching stage name ‘Davide Montana’.
But it appears our Italian lover-boy soon had enough of the X-rated life, choosing to leave the industry in favour of his third profession – comedy acting.

In a lesson that one should never pigeonhole themselves, Iovinella got his big break in the comedy film ‘My Perfect Man’, directed by Nilo Sciarrone.
He was joined by a respectable cast which included Nancy Coppola, Francesco Testi, Eva Grimaldi and Nadia Rinaldi.
Unsatisfied with that, Iovinella has since launched ‘Montana Management Agency’, which involves managing glamour models.
