Is Marine vs Tottenham on TV today? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch FA Cup fixture

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has bought a Marine raffle ticket ahead of his side’s clash with the non-league club in the FA Cup.

The winner of the raffle will be given the opportunity to manage the club – who play in the eighth tier of English football – for a pre-season friendly game.

This is Marine’s first-ever FA Cup match against top flight opposition, and they face a Tottenham side that have progressed from 13 of their last 14 third round matches.

It is the non-league club’s second appearance at this stage in the competition after their 3-1 loss to Crewe Alexandra back in 1992/93.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match:

When is it?

The fixture will kick-off at 5pm at Rossett Park.

How can I watch it?

The match is live on BBC One, with coverage starting from 4:30pm GMT.

What is the team news?

Marine have signed Clitheroe player-manager David Lynch in an ‘unprecedented’ 14-day deal and the 27-year-old midfielder is eligible to face Spurs. The Northern Premier League North West Division is suspended so Clitheroe are not playing and Lynch is not cup-tied.

Spurs could field a particularly strong side as they target cup success. Gareth Bale has asked to play after recovering from a calf problem, but midfielder Giovani lo Celso misses out due to a hamstring injury.

Predicted line-ups

Marine: Passant, Davies, Miley, Raven, Joyce, Doyle, Hmami, Barrigan, Kengni, Cummins, Touray

Tottenham: Hart, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, Davies, Winks, White, Lucas, Alli, Bergwijn, Vinicius

Odds

Marine: 40/1

Draw: 20/1

Tottenham: 1/50

Prediction

Marine’s run is a truly magical story, and highlights the unique nature of the FA Cup as they prepare to take on some of the best players in the Premier League. However, Spurs are set to name a strong side with key players either on the field or waiting patiently on the bench, so I think Marine’s journey ends here. 0-3 Tottenham.
