Chelsea are reportedly interested in Aguero who would be open to staying in England

Serie A leaders Inter Milan have now reportedly joined the race to sign Aguero this summer

The move would add more firepower to the side that currently top the Serie A table, who already have Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez leading their line.

Aguero has struggled with injury and illness this season – making just five starts for the club in all competitions.

The Argentine has expressed disappointment at his lack of opportunities since returning to fitness in January.

His contract with the club ends in June and there has yet to be any talks held over new terms.

Inter Milan could face a lot of competition for Aguero’s signature if he leaves Manchester City this summer.

Sportsmail reported earlier in the week that the 32-year-old is keen to stay in the Premier League next season, and that Chelsea are eyeing a move for him once his contract expires.

Barcelona are also believed to have made contact with Aguero regarding a potential free transfer, while Paris Saint-Germain also hold interest.

Chelsea are long-term admirers of Aguero, and tried to sign him a decade ago when he swapped Atletico Madrid for City.
