Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s £10k-a-night historic mansion on coast of Majorca
Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are staying in a £10,000-a-night historic seafront mansion in Majorca built to defend the coast from attacks by the British.
The Juventus striker is holidaying on the island and has posted photos of him relaxing with partner Georgina Rodriguez and his four children on board his luxury 88 feet-long Azimut Grande yacht called GC Mare.
The rented home he is staying at haws been identified as Manresa Castle – Castell de Manresa in Catalan Spanish – which dates from 1715 and was built to ward off the British who at the time controlled the island of Menorca.
The sensational property, located in the bay of Pollensa in the north of Majorca, has seven bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and is set in around 40 acres of land.
It also boasts its own heli-pad as well as a full-size tennis court, large swimming pool and spa area with a sauna and ‘chill out’ area.
Ronaldo and Georgina don’t have to worry about getting their hands dirty in the kitchen because the fully-modernised mansion comes with a butler, housekeepers, private chef and kitchen staff. The staff are housed in separate accommodation within the estate.

The 36-year-old star, set to return to action with Juventus for pre-season training in the coming weeks, is understood to be moving around in his own vehicle with bodyguards.
His partner is said to be using a luxury blue Rolls Royce to get from their rented home to the yacht which is moored in Port d’Alcudia.
Georgina has been at the centre of new pregnancy rumours in recent days after her sister Ivana published a photo of the model and influencer with a heart on her belly on her social media before removing the post.
Ronaldo, who has just one year left on his contract in Turin, gave away his holiday location on Sunday by posting a picture of him with his family on his yacht off the town of Pollensa in northern Majorca.
He titled the snap: “It’s time to rest with my loves.”
The boat he went out to sea on with his family is the super-yacht he purchased last June which boasts five luxury cabins and six bedrooms and is capable of reaching 28 knots, thanks to two 1,900 horsepower engines.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player picked Majorca last year for his summer holidays.
He was spotted cruising around the island in his new yacht and visited the upmarket tourist town of Deia, where Bob Geldof owns a home.
AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also been enjoying the delights of Majorca and in mid-June posted a video of him cycling bare-chested along Palma seafront.
