Ray Parlour was the captain of one of Arsenal's greatest-ever sides – but that didn't mean he didn't have a fun side on the pitch.
The legendary Gunner has joked about how he used to bet on the coin toss with Paul Ince – when the 1990s star was playing for Middlesbrough. Speaking to talkSPORT, Parlour revealed the pair had the cheeky bet ahead of the game.
He said: "We were talking about Paul Ince earlier; I remember I was captain of Arsenal, and he was captain of Middlesbrough. And you know when you toss a coin to decide which end you're going to go?

"I said: '£50 Incey, I'll beat at heads or tails'. We had heads or tails, £50, get in there.
"And he said 'I'm going to do you first', and I said 'No I'm going to do you first'. And I've done him properly right, and I've got a yellow card. So then I'm looking around thinking where is he?
"All of a sudden he's come from nowhere done me and he's got a yellow card. And in the bar afterwards, he's given me £50 because I've won heads or tails!"
Ince was sacked by Reading earlier this week after the Hoops dropped into the relegation zone – and they're without a win in their past eight games.

A Reading statement said: "I would like to thank Paul and Alex for their efforts throughout what has admittedly been a frustrating and exceptionally challenging season so far. We would like to wish them well in their future endeavours.
"However, for the next five games, our only focus is on doing everything we can to survive this season."
