Manchester United's star Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Liverpool in a sensational deal.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move from Old Trafford this summer despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanting to keep hold of his French superstar.

French giants PSG were seemingly at the front of the queue to secure Pogba's signature before his contract expires next summer.

However, according to French outlet Le10 Sport, Pogba has been offered to the Merseyside outfit by Pogba's super-agent Mino Raiola this summer.

And Daily Star Sport has a look at how Pogba's wages compared to the Liverpool squad.

Currently, Liverpool's highest earners, according to SalarySport, are Mohammed Salah and Thiago Alcantara – who are both on £200,000-per-week.

The duo have more than earned their salary with Salah only once dipping beneath 20 goals in a season for the Reds, and that season he still bagged 19.

Thiago has been a breath of fresh air in the Liverpool midfield, and his performances helped the Reds to their first Premier League title.

Virgil Van Dijk, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane are all close behind the pair, and their wages sit at £180,000-per-week.

Currently, at United, Pogba is on £290,000-per-week.

However, he isn't the Red Devils' highest earner, that honour belongs to David de Gea who earns a staggering £350,000-per-week.

And United, according to The Sun, could be ready to hand Pogba a five-year mega-contract worth up to £400,000-per-week in an attempt to keep hold of their prized asset.
