Eden Hazard has finally put an end to his Real Madrid fitness issues, after spending the summer break working on his conditioning.
The Belgium midfielder has had three off-seasons of ‘getting carried away’ and returning up to five kilos overweight amid huge struggles with injury and fitness with Los Blancos.
However according to reports, the 31-year-old’s physique now exceeds the expectations of Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti and his staff – as they prepare to have the Belgian at full-fitness for the very first time.
Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has reportedly returned for pre-season in ‘perfect condition’

According to AS, the former Chelsea winger was well aware that he needed to improve his conditioning over the summer if he wanted to break into the Real first-team this season.
Hazard returned to his home-town of Braine-le-Comte to spend time with family and seek advice from an unnamed personal trainer who works as part of the Belgian national side.
Those same reports suggest that the winger has returned to Real Madrid’s training ground Valdebebas in tip-top condition ahead of the new season – surpassing any expectations set by Ancelotti and his staff.
In March 2020, Hazard underwent an operation to insert a metal plate into his ankle – which the club believe has since led to a string of injuries.
The Belgian has since undergone surgery to remove the metal plate and there is now hope that he is able to work on his physique without limitations.

‘At last Hazard! The Belgian winger has returned to Valdebebas finer than ever’
Hazard was widely seen as one of the best players in the world after seven successful seasons at Chelsea, culminating in a 21-goal campaign in 2018-19 which saw him earn a move to Real in a deal worth a huge £150m.
But the 120-cap international’s penchant for completely blowing his diet in between seasons resulted in him often coming back overweight, exacerbating his fitness and injury issues.
He has failed to lock down a regular starting place and has only scored six goals in all competitions across his three years at the club – the same as his lowest total in a single campaign while at Chelsea.
