Hasbulla Magomedov has laid into Cristiano Ronaldo and said that he "doesn't care" for the Manchester United forward.

Ronaldo was recently named Manchester United's player of the month and is the club's top scorer this season with 18 goals in all competitions since returning in the summer.

However, this has not impressed Hasbulla, who was asked about Ronaldo's relationship with his rival Abdu Rozik during an interview with Barstool Sports.

Hasbulla and Rozik have been embroiled in an online feud over the past year, with talk of a potential UFC fight between the pair after a ring-side altercation at a recent event.

Responding to Rozik and Ronaldo's relationship, the 19-year-old quipped: "I could not care less about Ronaldo. I am more famous than him.

"The only thing he does in a match is pass around the ball."

Ronaldo's 18 goals this season have come in 32 matches, including six in seven Champions League appearances and 12 goals in the Premier League.

Hasbulla's comments may not go down well with everyone, though, including his close friend and former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo still be a Manchester United player next season? Let us know in the comments section below.

Khabib hails from the Dagestan region, the same part of Russia that Hasbulla currently resides, and tipped the social media sensation to become a billionaire back in December.

However, the former UFC star is also friends with Ronaldo and praised the Portugal captain's return to Old Trafford earlier in the season.

"He became 37 years old, this is not his best age but even how he plays, I think affects his whole team," explained Khabib. "His energy, his experience, his advice.

"They have a very good, strong, young team. Next year I feel they will do a very good job, right now so many new players they don't connect well.

"I think next year Manchester United are going to be a big problem for all clubs. I'm going to talk with him."
