Harry Kane’s Man Utd transfer decision with Erik ten Hag chosen over Pochettino
Harry Kane reportedly wants to remain at Tottenham and will turn down a move to Manchester United.
United have been looking to bring in Kane for months and manager-elect Erik ten Hag reportedly sees Kane as the club’s biggest target in the summer window. But fresh reports indicate that the Red Devils might have more of a chance if they opted for PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino instead of the Dutchman, as the pair continue to have a close relationship from their Spurs days.
According to the Mirror, Ten Hag is a fan of Kane and wants the 28-year-old to lead the line for the club next season. But the striker appears to be happy with how things are going under Antonio Conte and wishes to stay beyond the summer at least.
In fact, Kane has ambitions to stay and beat smash the club’s goalscoring record, with Conte being a huge factor in all of this. Kane was linked with Manchester City last summer but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy turned down the £127million bid made by the side and so the player remained in north London.
Kane had a stuttering start to the season but has come out on top this year. But it appears that Man City have now turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Another factor is that Spurs look to be the favourites to gain entry to the Champions League this season, with Arsenal and United’s form wavering in recent weeks.
Ajax manager Ten Hag is set to be announced as United’s next manager with a verbal agreement in place. He will be given a huge transfer kitty in the summer to help overhaul the squad. Current boss Ralf Rangnick is in the current on an interim basis and it’s thought that he will become a consultant to the club in the summer.
