Jack Grealish has been called a "f***ing idiot* after he was blamed for starting a fight in Manchester City's friendly match against Club America on Thursday.
The England international started against the Mexican outfit at the NRG Stadium in a strong line-up from Pep Guardiola. The forward partnered new signing Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez in attack.
Kevin de Bruyne scored a brilliant brace to hand victory to City while his first was a blockbuster shot that left Guillermo Ochoa with no chance on the half hour mark. However, just before that, the Mexican keeper was involved in a scuffle with Grealish that needed the two to be pulled apart.

After looking to latch on a poor touch from Club America right-back Jorge Sanchez, Grealish looked to race through on goal before the tumbling defender appeared to bring down the former Aston Villa star. It left the 26-year-old crumpled on the floor in fury.
Ochoa tried to quell the mood by helping him up before some small nudges to the back that angered Grealish further, who shoved him in the chest. The goalkeeper reacted furiously by landing his own push before teammates from both sides rushed in to break up the scuffle.
However, fans were left unimpressed by Grealish's antics, with one explicitly saying: "Jack grealish is a f***ing idiot." Which led to the reply: "In fairness, he was probably drunk in this clip."
And another fan wrote: "Honestly Grealish is turning into a archetype of a hyped English player." With this supporter saying: "Jack childish more like."
"Grealish has his season highlight already," another posted but this fan warned: "Grealish is going to be benched by Pep, if he doesn't learn to control his emotions."
All eyes will be on Grealish in his second season at the Etihad following his huge £100million transfer from Aston Villa after his debut campaign saw him score just three Premier League goals. After the arrival of Erling Haaland and Alvarez, competition for places are hot under Guardiola ahead of the new campaign even with the departures of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
