Get your own giant Gary Lineker ears to help ward off England’s ITV curse
We need you all to rub Gary Lineker’s lugs to ward off the “ITV curse” and help England to World Cup glory.
Three Lions fans fear luck will not be on their side as Sunday evening's (December 4) crucial clash against Senegal is not on the Beeb.
Big-eared BBC presenter Gary warned viewers: “It’s on ITV – Oh well.”
His remark has spooked notoriously superstitious supporters who view it as a bad omen.

The telly rivals have dramatically contrasting track records when it comes to screening England games at major tournaments over the past quarter of a century.
Since the 1998 World Cup in France, the Beeb has had a whopping 75 per cent win rate – 12 triumphs from 16 games.

But when the national side feature over on ITV, it’s been a shocking paltry 13 per cent in terms of victories – just two wins from 15 games on the box.
And so far in Qatar, ITV have yet to screen an England goal – while BBC have shown nine.
One punter moaned on social media: “Curse of ITV at the big competitions strikes again. If ITV loved football they wouldn’t show it.”
Now we’re asking you to use the power of positive thinking to help channel an England win at 7pm.
Gary might not be hosting the coverage but the 1986 golden boot winner can still play a part – and you can too.
Let’s rub Lineker’s lugs for good luck to beat the ITV curse and steer our boys into the quarter-finals – it’s coming home!
