Manchester United icon Gary Neville slammed the Red Devils’ performance in their 1-0 Premier League defeat by Wolves. Ralf Rangnick’s side were lacklustre and the German ultimately suffered the first loss of his interim reign.
Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho scored the only goal of the game at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international controlled a headed clearance and half-volleyed into the net.
United were incredibly poor and looked disjointed in attack. Ultimately, they had just two shots on target despite starting with Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho.
The latter should have played through Ronaldo in the first half but instead opted to shoot and saw his strike blocked.
“It’s not good. It really isn’t!” Neville tweeted just after Moutinho steered his effort into the corner of David De Gea’s goal.
