Gary Neville names three players outside of Big Six who hed like at Man Utd
Gary Neville has named the three players that play outside of the traditional 'Big Six' that he would like to see playing for Manchester United.
The former United full-back revealed to SPORTbible which players he would want to see play at Old Trafford as he answered questions from Premier League fans.
For the purposes of the question, Neville was naming players that do not play for the Premier League's traditional six most famous clubs.
These are Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, however, Neville admitted that he sees Leicester City as now being a top six club in place of Arsenal.
Neville was asked which three players from outside of the top six would he add to the Manchester United squad?
He responded: "I would say Vardy. You'd have to over the last four or five years. Just his level of performance.
"But I think Leicester are in the top six, by the way, so I disagree with the way in which it's been put together.
"I think I'd be going for three Leicester players, to be honest with you. Probably going for Ndidi, Vardy.
What do you make of Gary Neville's selections of who he would like to see at Manchester United? Let us know in the comments section below.
"I'd go for Seamus Coleman. Just over the years, I think he's been [a] brilliant full-back at Everton.
"If it's now, maybe Seamus Coleman, Vardy and Ndidi. Yeah, Seamus Coleman probably four or five years ago. Yeah, three, four years ago."
Neville's doubts over whether Leicester should be in the equation when discussing the top six comes from the club finishing fifth in each of the last two seasons.
In addition, Brendan Rodger's side won the FA Cup for the first time in their history last season and are amongst the favourites for a top six finish again this term.
Vardy has shown incredible form in front of goal for the Foxes in recent seasons having won the league with the club in 2016 and then the golden boot in 2019/20.
The veteran striker already has two goals in three games this season to take his Premier League tally to 120 goals in 248 appearances.
Nigerian holding midfielder Ndidi has also impressed for the club after joining from Genk in 2017 and has made 180 appearances for the Foxes.
He also starred for the club as they won the FA Cup back in May when they beat Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Everton captain Coleman is one of the league's best ever signings having been snapped up for just £63,000 back in 2009.
He has made over 350 appearances for the Toffees and has featured in each of their opening three league matches this season at the age of 32.
