Gabriel Jesus left with bloody nose but plays on following accidental collision
Gabriel Jesus was left in a crumple after a flailing arm from Kostas Tsimikas caught him as he bore down on the Liverpool goal, leaving him with a bloodied nose.
It came just moments after Martin Odegaard was also floored with the Arsenal star having to change direction to avoid his downed team-mate. A quick VAR check told referee Michael Oliver that there was no foul play.
Nevertheless, there was some serious concerns from the officials – who beckoned medics to get over immediately. It appeared that Jesus had been knocked clean out but there was a collective sigh of relief around the Emirates as the Brazilian responded.

And he was back up on his feet soon enough, along with Odegaard – two players who have caused carnage throughout the season. And Liverpool had been already on the receiving end of their attacking prowess.
It was Odegaard's sublime pass that left Trent Alexander-Arnold dizzy as Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Arsenal in the first minute on Sunday afternoon. While Jesus and his wiry style of play with the ball gave the likes of Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk plenty of problems.
The Reds have had a tough campaign to date under Jurgen Klopp and had to twice come back from behind against the Gunners. Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino both struck equalisers in a proper Premier League slugfest between two great titans.
Arsenal are in need of a win to jump back up to the top of the table – a position they have held for much of the season so far. Whereas Liverpool are in dire need of three points to stand any chance of returning to the conversation of title contenders.
The Reds started the day 12 points behind Manchester City – who are thrashing teams for fun after beating Southampton 4-0 on Saturday. Led by Erling Haaland, it will take someone special to stop the Premier League champions from retaining their crown.
