Gabriel Jesus goes off injured after silky assist and wonder goal in Arsenal win
Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus contributed an astounding assist and a wonderful goal in his side's 2-1 Champions League victory against Sevilla – only to limp off the pitch with an injury.
The North Londoners have enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League campaign, but they recently suffered a huge setback in their return to the most glamorous competition in club football. Mikel Arteta's side were recently stunned by French teak RC Lens, who recorded a historic 2-1 victory over the North Londoners.
It was a result which saw PSV Eindhoven and Lens move level on points with Arsenal in Group B. After a difficult first-half against Sergio Ramos and co, Jesus helped break the deadlock and then doubled the lead in magical fashion.

As the final minutes of the first-half ticked down, Jesus lost two Sevilla players with an immaculate Cruyff turn before sending a perfectly weighted pass to the marauding Gabriel Martinelli. His Brazilian national team colleague then calmly rounded Orjan Nyland to send Arsenal into the break with a 1-0 lead.
While Martinelli was the scorer, the praise was for Jesus. "Gabriel Jesus absolutely sent him and put the perfect through ball for Martinelli. Sensational bit of skill," one fan said.

"That was really unbelievable. Sensational," a second added. "What a turn and vision from Jesus, and what compose finish from Martinelli," a third said. As Arsenal fans were ringing their friends to laud Jesus, they would have then watched his wonderful finish in the second-half.
The confident former Manchester City forward then began the second half by receiving a pass from Declan Rice before weaving his way into the penalty area and whipping a wonderful effort into the top right hand corner.
Unfortunately for the Gunners, Jesus did not last the rest of the match. The Brazilian sunk to the ground and appeared to be clutching his hamstring.
Almost immediately, he was hauled off by Arteta in place for striker Eddie Nketiah. While it initially appears to be cautionary, it's a site all Arsenal fans will be concerned by.
