Future Liverpool star Nunez’s girlfriend is blonde beauty he had baby with at 22

Imminent Liverpool signing Darwin Nunez had a baby at 22-years-old with his gorgeous blonde girlfriend.

The Uruguayan striker has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield following his impressive season in Portugal with Benfica, which saw him win the golden boot with 26 goals in 28 league matches. Despite being just 22, Nunez is already a father after he and his partner Lorena Manas welcomed their son, also called Darwin, in January.

Nunez and Manas' long-term relationship began whilst he was still playing in his native Uruguay, according to OhMyFootball, before he joined Spanish side Almeria in the summer of 2019.

The couple's son was born in Almeria at the start of this year, with Nunez sharing the news on social media, confirming mother and baby were healthy in the heart-warming snaps.

Manas generally stays out of the public eye, with her own Instagram account being private, although she does have 18,700 followers on the social media platform.

The blonde beauty regularly attends Nunez's matches at both club and international level and is regularly pictured alongside him at full-time, as well as Nunez sharing pictures of them on family days out with their son on his own Instagram, which has 520,000 followers.

Nunez left Uruguay in 2019 when he joined Almeria from boyhood club Penarol for £11.7million. However, he spent just one season in Spain before joining Benfica for £21.6million in 2020.

He has since developed into one of European football's hottest prospects, fresh off the back of a prolific second season in Portugal.

The Uruguay international ended the campaign with 26 league goals to claim the golden boot and had a tally of 34 goals in 41 matches across all competitions.

Those included two goals against potential suitors Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the Champions League as Benfica pushed the eventual finalists all the way across two legs.

Nunez could now be on the verge of joining the Reds this summer as Jurgen Klopp's side reportedly pull ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign him.

Liverpool are understood to be in talks with both Nunez's representatives and Benfica over a deal and are said to be prepared to smash their transfer record by paying as much as £85million for his services.
