Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is seeking assurances from the club after continuing to be left out in the cold, according to reports. Van de Beek wants to know if he will eventually become a regular member of the United side or if he needs to move elsewhere. The Dutchman is yet to start in the Premier League this season and has made just one substitute appearance in the competition.
Van de Beek started just four times in the league last term following his £40million arrival from Ajax.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously stated the 24-year-old “knows he is not frozen out”.
But that is yet to be reciprocated in terms of minutes on the pitch.
And The Sun claims Van de Beek is keen to know where his future lies.

The midfielder feels ‘exiled’ at United, as does defender Eric Bailly.
Van de Beek reacted angrily to not being brought on in the Champions League match at home to Villarreal last month by throwing his chewing gum down.
Meanwhile, Bailly has made just one substitute appearance in all competitions this season.
The Ivory Coast international only signed a new contract at Old Trafford in April to keep him at the club until 2024, with the option of a further year.

The Sun says Bailly was angry not to play against Leicester earlier this month.
Harry Maguire was instead rushed back to partner Victor Lindelof and the captain struggled as United’s unbeaten run away from home ended with a 4-2 defeat.
Earlier this month, Solskjaer was asked about Van de Beek’s situation.
And the Norwegian insisted the player knows what he needs to do to force his way into the team.
“He knows he is not frozen out,” Solskjaer said.
““It’s Man United and when a headline player is not playing for Man United, it is always going to make headlines.
“I’ve got plenty of them every week that don’t play, so I don’t have any issues with Donny; he knows what he needs to work on, what we want him to work on.
“He is diligent in his work and he has never ever let his mood affect his team and teammates negatively.
“You have to have that fire in your belly if you’re going to make it.”
