Frank Leboeuf has slammed Graham Potters’ side following their 4-0 loss to Man City
The Chelsea legend said ‘enough is enough’ and called for Potter to be replaced as manager
‘Mr Potter, enough is enough now, something needs to be changed,’ the 54-year-old said. ‘That’s not the club I know. You are so far away from being a Champion of Europe.
‘I’m very upset with what I see. I think it’s really disrespectful. They don’t do anything to at least make people proud. Fight! Go for it!’
Chelsea currently sit tenth in the the Premier League following a dismal run of recent form that has seen Potter’s side win just one of their last eight league matches.
Leboeuf also called several of Chelsea’s key players ‘shameful’ including Kai Havertz
The Frenchman also claimed that ‘The players don’t have the will, and they don’t have the guts’
While the board are continuing to back the manager, Leboeuf, who won two FA Cups for the club in 1997 and 2000, claimed he had never seen the club in such turmoil and slammed the players for not having enough commitment for the shirt.
‘I’ve never seen Chelsea so low,’ he continued. ‘The players don’t have the will, they don’t have the guts, they don’t have the courage to fight for their colours. They don’t have pride.’
Kai Havertz was one player he took umbrage at after the 23-year-old made a crazy decision to punch a cross away, gifting Man City a penalty that saw them go 2-0 up.
‘The players who are forming the spine, they are shameful. They do nothing. I don’t know what Kai Havertz is doing.
‘Mason, I love you, but come on! I don’t know what Jorginho is doing on the pitch still.’
Leboeuf was also very critical of Jorginho asking: ‘What is he still doing on the pitch?’
Riyad Mahrez scored a brace of goals to help Man City knock Chelsea out of the FA Cup
Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Julien Alvarez all combined to shock Chelsea, tearing them apart with a quartet of goals that left the Blues answerless against a barrage of attacks.
In fact, Chelsea registered only three attempts during the match, with Leboeuf claiming that the London side had no leaders to inspire the side to come back during the game.
‘I see players convinced of nothing and proving nothing. They showed disrespect toward the fans and Chelsea Football Club.
‘I’m talking about so-called leaders, not the young players.’
