Manchester City may have taken a giant step towards signing Erling Haaland this summer, but it seems that the Norwegian is rather fond of a few English clubs and not just the Premier League Champions.

It's been reported that Haaland has agreed to join City in the summer and become the league's highest paid player, ending any hopes that Harry Kane may have had about a revived move from Tottenham. But it's not a done deal just yet, and fans are speculating that he could still move elsewhere after being pictured in an array of kits.

The Norwegian was born in England as his father, Alfe-Inge was playing for Leeds United at the time, and Haaland is clearly a lover of the Premier League. And Daily Star Sport takes a look at four Premier League shirts that Haaland has been pictured in…

Arsenal

Arsenal are in need of a striker in the summer, and any Gunners fan would bite your hand off for Haaland. But the Norwegian has been seen in an Arsenal shirt before, albeit at a much younger age.

Whether Haaland enjoyed the way that Arsenal used to play, or whether he is a secret fan is unknown. But it has sparked wild debate as he only ever lived towards the north of England before moving back to Norway.

Arsenal are thought to be on the lookout for a world-class striker this summer after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left in January, and both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract at the end of the season. Haaland would certainly tick all of the boxes, but unrealistic is probably an understatement.

Man Utd

Manchester United are always linked with the top talent, and they have an extremely high wage bill, meaning that they could afford Haaland's salary with Paul Pogba set to leave. And an old story post saw Haaland bizarrely signing a United shirt back in the day.

Haaland's father played for City, and was even on the receiving end of a horrific injury from United captain Roy Keane, which led to an early retirement. But that doesn't mean that United wouldn't do their best to sign him for the long-term.

United may have Cristiano Ronaldo, but long-term their issues look bleak, and the fact that they look set to miss out on the Champions League isn't going to help their cause. Erik ten Hag has a major job on his hands after agreeing to become United manager next season.

Leeds

Haaland was born in Leeds, and he has been snapped regularly wearing their merchandise while at current club Borussia Dortmund. It is thought that Leeds is Haaland's favourite club in England, and he almost ended up signing for them when he was 17.

Whilst playing for Molde, Haaland and his father flew to Leeds to negotiate a potential move, and the Norwegian was on the verge of joining the Peacocks. However, agent Mino Raiola has other ideas, and negotiated a big move to Red Bull Salzburg instead, and he signed for £6million, and the rest is history.

Haaland may very well end up playing at Elland Road in the near future, but it's likely to be in an away game for another club. It will be interesting to see how he takes to playing at a stadium he reportedly loves, and trying to score against his beloved Leeds.

Man City

This is probably a sight that we may have to get used to seeing. Haaland in sky blue, and probably scoring an abundance of goals.

City are expected to trigger Haaland's £68m release clause this summer and a five-year deal has reportedly been discussed. His father has also been involved in the negotiations, according to the Daily Mail.

Pep Guardiola was relaxed when missing out on Kane last summer, and City didn't pay over the odds for the Tottenham star. And if this deal was potentially in the pipeline, it all makes sense.
