Greenwood won’t play for England under Southgate
Mason Greenwood may have a future at Manchester United as the club’s internal investigation continues.
However, he shouldn’t expect to feature for England while Gareth Southgate is manager, despite charges against him being dropped by the CPS.
According to The Sun, Greenwood will never represent England under Southgate’s regime.
The manager has a heavy focus on squad harmony, which is equally as important as quality to him.
Greenwood earned one international cap before his arrest in January 2022.
Ronaldo filmed biting back at Messi fan
Cristiano Ronaldo angrily responded to a young Lionel Messi fan who heckled him as he walked down the Al-Nassr tunnel on Friday.
The Saudi Arabia outfit had beaten Al-Batin 3-1 before Ronaldo was the target of a jibe from a child in the tunnel.
The young fan said: “Messi is so much better than you!”
And Ronaldo wasn’t letting it slide, aggressively responding: “Go and watch him then. Why are you here?”
