Florentino Perez caught insulting Ronaldo and Mourinho in leaked audio
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is in more hot water after another batch of leaks emerged, this time criticizing former coach Jose Mourinho and the club’s top goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, back in 2012.
Yesterday, footage leaked by Spanish outlet El Confidencial revealed that Perez insulted Real Madrid legends Iker Casillas and Raul in 2006, labelling them both as “two great Madrid scams.”
Perez spoke poorly about Raul’s lack of marketability compared to other Real Madrid stars at the time such as David Beckham and Ronaldo Nazario.
He also attacked Casillas for his relationship with his girlfriend, TV presenter Sara Carbonero, saying that the goalkeeper’s bad relationship with Mourinho in 2012 came as a result of that link.
Today, footage emerged of Perez describing Mourinho and Ronaldo as having terrible egos, calling them “spoiled.”
"He's crazy," Perez started off about Ronaldo.
"This guy is an idiot, a sick man.
“You think this guy is normal, but he's not normal, otherwise, he wouldn't do all the things he does."
“These are guys with terrible ego, both spoiled, & they don't see the reality, because both could earn much more money if they were otherwise.
“We’re talking about lot of money in the field of image rights,” he says, before moving on to target Mourinho.
"Mourinho is an idiot; It is not that he does not want to play.

“Well, he's a bit abnormal; he drives without a license.
“That said, he has been overwhelmed by the pressure."
He also took aim at former head coach Vicente del Bosque, who managed Real Madrid on three separate occasions, most successfully between 1999 and 2003, when he won two league and Champions League titles.
"Del Bosque doesn't know how to coach and knows nothing about tactics,” Perez said back in 2006.
“No one is offering him a job because they know he's not a coach.
“No one is offering him a job because they know he's not a coach.
“He's the biggest fraud I've ever seen in my life."
Perez responded to the leaks yesterday, saying that someone was bringing it up now for his involvement in the failed European Super League project.
