'F**k you and your wife': Romelu Lukaku & Zlatan Ibrahimovic clash in Milan tie
Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic clashed in a fiery Milan derby, with Lukaku appearing to tell his former Manchester United team-mate ‘f**k you and f**k your wife’.
The Inter Milan and AC Milan strikers were both on target in the Coppa Italia clash between the two local rivals, with Ibrahimovic sent off.
Ibrahimovic opened the scoring in the first half, before being sent off just before the hour mark, with Lukaku drawing Inter level from the penalty spot in the second.
A late Christian Eriksen winner, deep into stoppage time, eventually clinched the tie for Inter but the game will be remembered for Lukaku and Ibrahimovic’s spat.
The pair collided on the stroke of half-time and had to be separated by team-mates after rucking together in the middle of the pitch.
Both were booked and Ibrahimovic then saw red for a second yellow card after a clumsy challenge on former Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
After their initial row, Lukaku screamed at the Swedish striker at half-time, telling him ‘f**k you and your wife’.
With no fans in the stadium, their discussion could be heard as both men lost their cool.
Inter manager Antonio Conte was forced to hold Lukaku back to ensure he didn’t get to the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain attacker, who had clearly upset him greatly.
Lukaku could be heard saying: ‘He wants to talk about mothers? Son of a b****.’
Ibrahimovic had earlier told Lukaku: ‘Go do your vodoo shit, you little donkey”.’
