Fikayo Tomori comments may mean Thomas Tuchel can execute Chelsea transfer plan
Fikayo Tomori is already loving life in Italy after joining AC Milan on loan from Chelsea last month – meaning Thomas Tuchel could use the defender as bait to land one of his dream signings.
Tomori, 23, was sent out on loan to Milan in the January transfer window after making just three appearances under Frank Lampard during the first half of the 2020/21 campaign.
The centre-back has settled in well at the San Siro, making five appearances for Stefano Pioli's side so far, and in a recent interview with Sky Sports he played down the difficulties of living abroad.
"Personally I always liked the idea of living in a different country, it wasn't much of a shock mentally, I always thought it would be nice," he said.
"I'm enjoying it, obviously I can't see my family as much but luckily we have FaceTime so I can keep in touch."
He added: "I'm trying to make the most of the experience, trying to better myself, learn the language and understand the language.
"I've been welcomed with open arms and I feel comfortable with the team and there's still a long way to go in the season and hopefully we can do something special so all our names are in the history books."

Given Tomori appears to be enjoying his time in Milan so much, new Chelsea head coach Tuchel could try to use him as part of a deal to sign Franck Kessie from the Italian club.
According to Il Milanista, Tuchel 'dreams' of signing the Ivory Coast midfielder, who has produced a string of impressive displays under Pioli this season.
Milan have the option of making Tomori's loan permanent for a fee of £24million, but it would require the youngster to agree to a full-time contract with them.
His recent comments suggest he wouldn't have any reservations about doing so, nevertheless, meaning Tuchel could use him to seal an exchange for Kessie.
