Tottenham fans are adamant that Moussa Sissoko deliberately blasted a ball at ex-boss Nuno Espirito Santo on his Watford debut.
Sissoko joined Spurs from Newcastle in 2016 but was deemed surplus to requirement by Nuno, who offloaded the midfielder on Friday.
It didn't take long for the Frenchman to find a new club, with Watford swooping in to offer him a two-year deal to remain in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old made his Hornets debut against Tottenham of all teams and was immediately involved in the thick of the action.
In the first half, he was involved in duel with former team-mate Dele Alli who barged him off the ball and forced him off the pitch, where he smashed the ball at Nuno from point blank range.
Sissoko quickly apologised to his former boss, but some Spurs fans are convinced it was deliberate from the ex-Newcastle man.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Sissoko definitely did it on purpose."
Another said: "Sissoko only had 3 shots on target at Tottenham and one of them was at Nuno Espírito Santo."
Someone else added: "Sissoko booted the ball at nuno. Great save from the former keeper."

A fourth Spurs fan commented: "Sissoko telling nuno how he feels about being sold lmaoooo."
Sissoko's poor record in front of goal for Tottenham – he scored just five goals in 202 matches – led others to joke that if he really meant to hit Nuno, he probably would have missed.
"That's for selling me". Sissoko blasts the ball at Nuno from close range after he was shepherded out of play. Definitely not intentional because if it was he'd have missed," said someone else.

Sissoko was unable to get one over on his former team as Watford slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the game to send Spurs top of the Premier League table ahead of the international break.
