Fans spotted Ciro Immobile's instant resurrection once Italy went ahead against Belgium in their Euro 2020 quarter-final.
Immobile had been writhing around in apparent pain following a challenge in the Belgium penalty box.
He stayed on the ground as Nicolo Barella put the Italians in front, though swiftly rose to his feet to join in the celebrations.
One fan wrote on social media: "Immobile popped right up when it went in. LOOOOL"
While another put: "That is some recovery from Immobile!"
A third commented: "Miraculous recovery from Immobile, even Lazarus took 3 days."
With a fourth similarly putting: "Top finish from Barella. It helped Immobile overcome his injury quickly as well."
Another put: "Ha ha ha ha ha ha see how quick Immobile jumped up from his "injury" when they scored?"
Italy thought they went in front when Leonardo Bonucci tapped home, though it was ruled out for offside.
Though Barella did put Italy in front with a wonderful finish into the far post, past Thibaut Courtois.
Chris Sutton said: "What a finish from Barella. A thumping finish from him. He is a box-to-box player, great feet and persistence and he whips the ball across Courtois. Italy have the lead!"
