Fans have hailed Micah Richards’ antics as the former Manchester City defender joined in with Kidderminster fans’ songs ahead of their FA Cup tie against West Ham. 

National League North Kidderminster, in the sixth tier, host the Premier League side at Aggborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the fourth round of the competition.

And BBC Sport pundit Richards joined a bundle of Harriers fans, bouncing around and singing ‘Kidderminster are massive’ with infectious energy and enjoyment.

The former Manchester City defender is working at the Kidderminster v West Ham FA Cup tie

The post reads: ‘Think @MicahRichards is enjoying himself with the @khfcofficial fans,’ followed by a laughing emoji.

And football fans quickly took to social media to praise Richards for his enthusiasm.

One simply said: ‘Micah Richards for Prime Minister,’ with another adding: ‘The bloke’s a breath of fresh air!’
