Fans have theory over what Mo Salah told Jorginho during tense penalty shootout

Football fans have a theory about what Mohamed Salah told Jorginho before the Italian's penalty during the Carabao Cup final.

Both Salah and Jorginho were the fifth takers for Chelsea and Liverpool after both teams failed to break the deadlock for 120 minutes.

However, as Jorginho stepped up for his spot-kick, he crossed paths with the Egyptian on his way to the area.

The pair appeared to exchange some words as Jorginho walked to the spot.

And football fans have a theory about what Salah said, with fans convinced they can see Salah telling the Italian not to jump in his run-up.

One Liverpool fan joked: "No way Salah told Jorginho not to jump."

"Who caught Salah telling Jorginho not to jump when he takes his penalty? I need that vid," a second added.

While a third tweeted: "I want Salah to remember he told Jorginho 'don’t jump' and he still jumped."

"And Jorginho literally jumped. The balls on Jorginho," one fan pointed out after the Italian converted his penalty to send the tie into sudden death.
