Fans fear West Ham parade bus ‘bad omen’ before Europa League Conference final
West Ham fans are afraid the club might have jinxed themselves ahead of the Europa Conference League final after a photo of a parade bus appeared online.
The Hammers are one step away from etching their names into the history books by winning their first major honour in over 40 years, with just Fiorentina left standing in their way.
Victory on Wednesday evening would cap off a genuine rollercoaster of a season for David Moyes' side, who spent much of the domestic campaign trying to stay out of the relegation zone. But superstitious supporters think they might have shot themselves in the foot ahead of their mammoth clash in Prague.
The bus, spotted close to the London Stadium, was decked out in claret and blue with the words: 'Winners. 2022/23 Europa Conference League' stamped to the front above a big West Ham badge.

Needless to say fans reckon it's a bad omen, with some suggesting Fiorentina will use the image as motivation.
"The fact this bus pic has gone viral means West Ham are definitely losing," one rival supporter tweeted. Another wrote: "Fiorentina players will have seen this and it will spur them on. West Ham are screwed."
A jittery Hammers fan added: "Oh ffs! Every club has these buses waiting but trust West Ham to be the only club to leave it out in public for everyone to see." Another commented: "This will definitely come back to bite us!"

Tens of thousands of supporters have descended on Prague to catch a piece of the action, and one lucky West Ham fan even bumped into former Irons skipper and current sporting director Mark Noble on a run in the city.
West Ham have won all but one of their Conference League matches this season, with their 1-1 draw with Genk in the first leg of the quarter-finals the only time they didn't emerge victorious.
