Fans demand Bournemouth’s ‘kick-off mastermind’ given pay rise with another goal
Football fans have joked that Bournemouth's 'kick-off routine mastermind' is given a pay-rise with the Cheeries finding the net in nine seconds against the Gunners.
And it's not the first time that kick-off routine has worked, with a similar scenario playing out la
st season against Fulham. Four players lined up on the left-hand side of the pitch when Dominic Solanke got the game underway.
Dango Ouattara received the ball on the wing, and his low cross was converted by Philip Billing – who spun off in celebration. The goal was the second fastest in Premier League history, only topped by Shane Long's strike against Wolves.

"Bournemouth with an all-time great kick-off routine," a second added. While a third added: "Raaa Bournemouth doing kick-off training routines, what's going on?"
"Swear Bournemouth did that type of routine last season in the champ? At the hawthorns or something," another added. And a fifth tweeted: "Wow. Bournemouth made the famous 8 seconds goal routine that became a TikTok sensation. Now they have come up with something else that they did in 9 seconds!"

Bournemouth were then sent into dreamland when they doubled their lead in the second half.
However, Arsenal showed the courage of champions when they battled back – to level the game. And with just seconds remaining on the clock Reiss Nelson, who had been sent on off the bench, found the net to secure the three points for the Gunners.
