Fans beg Man Utd to sign Dusan Vlahovic with ‘scouts watching striker closely’

Manchester United supporters have been imploring their side to sign Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window, as the youngster’s star continues to rise.

The Serbian, who’s already had comparisons made between him and the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Erling Haaland, has enjoyed a breakout year – scoring 30 goals in 40 league games for Fiorentina.

That record speaks of a superior goalscoring record for the Tuscany outfit than some of their best players, such as Gabriel Batistuta and Luca Toni.

And the Daily Mail have pointed out the attacker has not gone unnoticed by United, with the side 'making checks' on his performances.

And indeed, the £70million-rated man has wet the lips of the Red Devil supporters.

One wrote on Twitter: “Man United must do everything in their powers to sign Dusan Vlahovic. 21 years old, goal machine. We have scouts watching him every single week and he was considered during the summer.”

Another said: “Dusan Vlahovic better fit for United than Haaland, don't @ me.”

A third said: “Come on Ralf and @ManUtd get your behind the scenes talks on the go with agents because f*** all the s**** with Mino and Haaland. Get Vlahovic from Fiorentina!!”

A fourth wrote: “Dusan Vlahovic is a baller, will be many clubs sniffing around him in January as the guy is a goal machine, If United are to let Martial go in Jan and with Cavani off in the summer I would not say no!”

A final fan said: “I actually hope Vlahovic comes to the Premier League, could you imagine him and Greenwood having a rivalry for years. It would be very good for Greenwood’s development as a world-beater.”

Vlahovic's contract expires in June 2023 and in October Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso revealed in the player won't sign a contract extension.

It was only less than a year ago that Vlahovic was nothing more than a fringe player for the Florence side, so clubs might be waiting to see if his recent form is reflective of his overall ability.
