Fans all make same savage Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joke with Barcelona job available
Football fans are all making the same joke about Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following Ronald Koeman's dismissal as Barcelona boss.
The Catalan club fired Koeman just minutes after their 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday evening after a string of poor results and performances.
Former midfield maestro Xavi is tipped to replace him in the dugout, having taken the reins at Qatari side Al-Sadd since 2019.
But football fans across the globe have come together to brutally make the same joke regarding Solskjaer.
The Red Devils boss is under intense pressure at Old Trafford having overseen a 5-0 hammering to arch-rivals Liverpool on Sunday with many calling for the Norwegian to be sacked.
Supporters have taken to Twitter to ward off Barcelona appointing Xavi, joking that Solskjaer should take the reins instead.
"United need to act fast and give Solskjaer assurances that his job is safe. We can’t be too careful now that Barcelona will be sniffing around," tweeted one fan.
"I wonder if Barcelona will try and head hunt the best manager in the world Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now that they’ve sacked Koeman," joked another.
While one supporter said: "Since Barcelona have sacked Koeman, they should hire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. With him, Barcelona have a future."
