FA Cup quarter-final schedule in full as TV selections confirmed
Manchester United will travel to Leicester for a 5pm kick-off on Sunday March 21 in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup as the schedule and TV selections are confirmed.
The Red Devils will be hoping to reach a second successive semi-final when they take on the Foxes having lost at the last-four stage against Chelsea last season.
It will be one of two quarter-final ties shown live on the BBC, with the Blues' clash against Sheffield United also selected for terrestrial coverage.
Thomas Tuchel's side will host the Blades at 1.30pm on the same day, with the other two ties taking place on Saturday March 20 – broadcast live on BT Sport.
The first of those will see a south coast derby as Bournemouth – the only non-Premier League side remaining in the competition – host Southampton at 12.15pm.
That is followed by Manchester City's trip to Everton at 5.30pm.
A total of 12.8m viewers tuned into fifth-round coverage and each club in the last eight will receive a £200,000 broadcast fee.
The four sides that are successful in the quarter-finals will pocket a further £270,000 each in prize money, while the sides that are defeated will collect £90,000 each.
Arsenal are the current holders of the FA Cup after they saw off Chelsea in last season's final to win the competition for a record 14th time.
But the Gunners were knocked out by Southampton in the fifth round to end their defence this term.
