- An ex-Premier League player has now told Ryan Reynolds he will join for free
A former Premier League star has offered to join Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham and play for free next season.
The Welsh side, who are on the cusp of securing promotion to the Football League for the first time in 15 years, currently sit four points clear of second-placed Notts County with 107 points.
With Ben Foster previously coming out of retirement to join the National League giants this season, another ex-Premier League star and former team-mate of Foster has offered to do the same.
Following Wrexham’s 3-0 victory over Yeovil, that saw the losers relegated, Reynolds and Co could have another decision to make regarding potential incomings in the summer.
Convincing Foster to come out of retirement and join them proved to be a smart move as the footballer-turned-YouTuber pulled off a magnificent last-minute penalty save against Notts County to put the title in Wrexham’s hands.
