Ex-Chelsea Prem winner is still in Russia and has played 10 games this season
Former Chelsea man Victor Moses is still in Russia playing for Spartak Moscow.
Moses, 32, still remains a key part of Spartak’s side after he opted to remain at the club despite the country seeing a host of foreign stars terminate their contracts over the past year.
The 38-time Nigerian international played ten times and scored twice in the Premier Liga during an injury-hit 2022/23 season which saw him miss half of the season after undergoing surgery on his Achilles' tendons.
Russia has seen an exodus of foreign players over the past year since FIFA allowed foreign players playing in Russia to terminate their contracts after the Russian government launched their invasion into Ukraine.

An emergency call to temporarily change transfer regulations to allow those Russian-based players to find new clubs for the remainder of the 2021/22 season was also launched.
But Moses saw a reported move to Burnley blocked by the Premier League to uphold ‘sporting integrity’ with the potential move coming late on in the Clarets’ battle to survive relegation, which they ultimately succumbed to.

Spartak’s head of press service Dmitry Zelenov has since replied to Russian outlet Sport Express regarding rumours that Moses is set to depart the club, saying: “Victor is a Spartak player, he wants to help Spartak. He proves it in word and deed.”
Moses’ current contract is set to expire next June meaning he’ll remain a Spartak player next season unless a deal can be made for his services.
The Crystal Palace youth product was signed by Wigan Athletic in 2010 and was soon snapped up by Chelsea who he played 128 times for and registered 31 goal involvements whilst playing as either a winger or wing-back.
He lifted the Premier League under Antonio Conte in 2017 and won the FA Cup and two Europa Leagues during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Moses also spent time on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham in England before joining Fenerbache and Inter Milan on other loan deals.
He moved to Spartak in 2021 permanently after enjoying a season on loan at the Otkrytie Bank Arena the year before.
