Andre Gomes is ‘in talks to join French side Lille’, and is currently travelling to the club in preparation for a move.
The 29 year-old has played 100 games for Everton since first arriving on loan from Barcelona in 2018. He signed the following year for £22 million.
Gomes has fallen out of favour under Frank Lampard, though, and is yet to appear for the club this season after making just 14 league appearances last year.

According to reports in Sky Sports, Gomes is ‘travelling to France’ on deadline day and is planning on ‘completing a deal when he arrives.’
The Portugal international has had a decorated career in his own right, with league titles in Spain and Portugal as well as a European Championship win.
Amadou Onana’s arrival suggests Everton are looking for a more youthful option in midfield, with Lampard looking to build a team around his promising young players.

The Toffees have also been linked with Manchester United’s James Garner, while Idrissa Gueye is thought to be close to agreeing a return to Goodison Park.
Everton are without a win so far this season, but have managed creditable draws in their last three games and sit just above the relegation zone.
There is a long way to go in the season, but fans will be hoping their side can wrap up any needed business tonight before the transfer window closes.
