Everton ready to block Richarlison joining PSG while Benitez targets swap deal

Rafa Benitez insists Everton are not considering selling Richarlison.

PSG are eyeing up a late move for the Brazilian if Kylian Mbappe goes to Real Madrid.

Real are growing in confidence they will land France star Mbappe in a deal worth up to £150m.

That could lead the Ligue 1 giants to make a late dip into the transfer market despite already signing Lionel Messi this summer.

They have all but ruled out signing Cristiano Ronaldo, who is set to leave Juventus to join Manchester City.

And now they've turned their attention to Richarlison, who plays with Neymar at international level.

But Toffees boss Benitez has other ideas.

He said: “We are not considering selling him.

“He is our player, we are really pleased with him and we are happy. Hopefully he can score a lot of goals for us this year.”

Everton may offload some big names this summer though.

James Rodriguez is available while Moise Kean has been linked to a move back to Juventus should Ronaldo leave as expected.

Benitez added: “We have some players that people know are good players and they are players people could be talking about.

“There are rumours but as coaches we concentrate on what we have here.”

Meanwhile, Everton want Porto winger Luis Diaz and are willing to let James Rodriguez go the other way on loan.
