Everton hero Yobo is married to beauty queen with 250k Instagram followers
Everton’s horrific run of results has likely prompted Toffees’ fans to reminisce back to the past.
The Merseysiders were a competitive, determined, and staunchly difficult opponent to beat under David Moyes.
They were always knocking on the door of the Champions League places, despite the modest transfer budget in comparison with their significantly wealthier rivals.
While the club’s struggles to break the glass ceiling between fifth position and the top four often left the supporters disappointed and frustrated, one hero at the heart of their campaigns is still enjoying himself.
And that is none other than former Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo, who is married to Instagram star Adaeze Yobo.
The 31-year-old was crowned as the ‘Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria’ in 2008, before going on to represent her country in the 2008 Miss World contest.
Two years later, she tied the knot with the Everton star, and the duo have been married ever since.
She is a popular, and fascinating presence on social media, where she promotes the hash-tag ‘#Purewellness’ as well as Instagram pages ‘The Learning Wife Forum’ and ‘Nneka Adaeze Lifestyle’ to her 246,000 followers.

Meanwhile, Yobo has also got his hands full, as he is currently trying to help mastermind a run at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in January.
He is currently the assistant manager of the Nigerian Football Team, where he will be hoping he can help secure a third Africa Cup of Nations title for the Super Eagles.
They have been drawn in a group against Sudan, Guinea-Bissau, and seven-time champions Egypt.
Yobo will need all his experience if the Nigerians have any chance of keeping out Egypt captain and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Salah may not have registered a goal and assist in Liverpool’s 2-2 away draw to Tottenham Hotspur, but he has still scored 22 goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances this season.
However, Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles are the second favourites to win this year’s tournament, and will therefore be expected to overcome the Egyptians.
