Everton flop James Rodriguez has shown off his bold new pink hairstyle amid talk he could be in line to return to the Premier League.
Colombian playmaker Rodriguez called time on his spell at Goodison Park last summer after falling out with then-manager Rafa Benitez in a bitter spat. The 30-year-old has since joined Qatari outfit Al-Rayyan, where he has scored four goals in 11 games.
But it is not his on-field antics which have been raising eyebrows recently, with Rodriguez sporting a bold new hairdo. Taking to Twitter, the former Real Madrid man shared two snaps of his bright pink trim.
Along with the pictures he wrote: "I changed something can you guess?" His hairstyle might not be the only thing James will be changing soon though.
Despite only joining Al-Rayyan last September, he is thought to be keen to return to Europe in the near future. Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra reports Rodriguez has indicated his desire to leave Ahmad bin Ali Stadium and has told super-agent Jorge Mendes to start the search for a new club.

The two-time Champions League winner has informed Mendes that he is willing to slash his wage demands to seal a European return – although clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia have already enquired about the situation. Rodriguez currently earns a mind-boggling €12m-a-year (£10.1m) according to South American outlet Semana.
Having penned a two-year deal at the start of the season, the Colombian has previously stated he did not wish to leave Everton last summer. Rodriguez registered six goals and nine assists during his solitary campaign in Merseyside after regaining form under ex- Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.
However, the Italian's departure for Los Blancos unsettled the Toffees' new star and Rodriguez made it clear it was Rafa Benitez who forced him out the door.
"I would have liked to have been at Everton for much longer," Rodriguez said on streaming service Twitch, in quotes shared by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
"It's a spectacular club, the fans are incredible, but I ran into a coach who didn't want to count on me. I wanted to be there. Unfortunately, the coach didn't want to count on me."
